Redbud ist ein langsamer Züchter, der eine Höhe von 35 bis 75 Fuß erreicht. Die purpurnen rosa Blüten erscheinen in der letzten Aprilwoche bis zur ersten oder zweiten Maiwoche auf dem ganzen Baum.
