Wintercreeper kann eine hängende, weinartige Pflanze oder ein aufrechter Strauch sein, abhängig von der Sorte. Die Pflanze kann eine Höhe von 2 bis 3 Fuß erreichen und 3 bis 4 Fuß verbreiten, aber kletternde Arten erreichen einen Schornsteinoberseite auf einem zweistöckigen Haus.
