Der orange gestreifte Eichenwurm ist schwarz mit orangefarbenen Streifen, die sich über den gesamten Körper erstrecken. Es hat zwei lange Dornen nahe seinem Kopf und kürzere Stacheln auf anderen Teilen seines Körpers. Das Insekt frisst die Blätter, ist aber so selten oder kommt in so geringer Anzahl vor, dass eine Kontrolle normalerweise nicht erforderlich ist.
